The Tejas Hunting Retriever Club was established in 1985.  This dynamic Club is dedicated to training, trialing and hunting our retriever companions.  Tejas members meet in the Houston area and enjoy working together to refine their skills as amateur retriever trainers and handlers. This Club is a vibrant organization open to new members and retriever enthusiasts.  Come join us for an upcoming training day or special Club event.

2012 Accomplishments

  • Doug & Puck earned their Sr Title at Heart of Texas Retriever Club May 5, 2012.

 

  • Lois Durkin and Butters earned their Started Title at Bryan College Station

 

  • Dorothy and Ruby earned their Judges Award of Merit at Brazosport Derby under Judy Aycock & Syliva McClure
  • Lisa and HRCH Lady Bella of Frederick, SH earned their Therapy Dog title, THD.
  • Pam and HR My Rock's Hallelujah to the Lord, JH "Halle" earned their Judges Award of Merit at Brazosport Derby under Judy Aycock & Syliva McClure.

 

  • HRCH UH R.R. Oakwood's Free and Easy MH owned by Clint got a JAM in Qualifying at Bluebonnet Field Trial.  At Acadiana FT Free took 2nd in the Qualifying.  Congratulations to Clint and Free for achieving Qualified All Age (QAA).
